Government stand on building restoration:
One of the issues in Angelica is figuring out to do with older buildings in the area, especially the grocery store. The government of Angelica has reached a decision with one of the store owners (Bryan Nowak) to buy the other partner out, tear down part of the store, and turn the rest into storage. I don't agree with what they're doing because I don't think it should be torn down. I think that in a town as small as ours it's important to have local stores so that we don't have to drive 15 minutes out just to buy something. I think that keeping the grocery store would have benefits to our community, and I would keep it.
