Remembrance Day
It was a very proud day for MPS last Wednesday when we commemorated Remembrance Day. Students and staff gathered on our front lawn surrounded by sculptures of poppies and soldiers to participate in the service which included a live rendition of the Last Post. Year 5 played a vital leadership role in the service ably organised by Mrs Glover. Landen Vasquez and Rianna Irving attended the Harden Remembrance service with Mrs Crawford, where they lay a floral wreath of native flowers and leaves.

Soccer Success for Isaac Brown
We are so proud to congratulate Isaac Brown on his selection to compete in the Canberra NPL1 Youth Competition with the under 13 Wagga City Wanderers side for the 2021 season. This is an outstanding achievement for our school captain.
Isaac has also been identified to train as part of the TSP (Talented Sports Program) with Football NSW in Wagga. Both of these selections will see Isaac travel to Wagga 3 nights per week, starting this term for training.
Isaac has been part of the SAP (Skills Acquisition Program) in Wagga for the past 4 years, training weekly and playing in tournaments against other regional sides that were part of the same program.
This is an exciting next step for Isaac as he pursues his passion for soccer. Well done Isaac on such a great achievement, all of that practice, persistence and commitment is paying off!
For Remembrance Day we made Anzac Slice, we added some sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds and less sugar to make it a healthier option! Delicious!!
