For this piece I was required to create a self portrait of myself from observation. I chose this particular pose because I wanted the drawing to look how I normally do while drawing. This also influenced how I wore my hair and my clothing as well. I wanted the drawing not no be glamorous but authentic. One thing I would fix on this piece (I cannot because I mailed it to college) Is the angle of the eyes. The eyes seemed to be tilted on a different angle than the mouth, nose and entire head. I also think that the eyes are drawn more harshly than the rest of the drawing.
