Step-Over Sequence Foundation Coach Course

Title Introduction

The Step-Over Sequence is a progression of skills built over the technique of lateral deceleration. It includes several concepts of learning, specifically, Looping and Overlapping Skills progressions. A student struggling to master lateral deceleration should be taught the Step-Over Sequence since it combines dynamic movement off the ball with dynamic movement on the ball.

Step-Over Sequence

Step-Over Series begins with the understanding that Lateral Deceleration can occur with the ball as an object to manage. The principle techniques are to understand speed and agility dynamics that allow the player to emphasize Static & Dynamic Progressions without the ball moving and with the ball moving.
