Stratus Clouds

The Stratus Cloud means rain if it is warm and snow if it is cold. The stratus cloud is close to ground and are what you call fog sometimes.

Nimbostratus Clouds

The Nimbostratus cloud is typically associated with light and moderate rain. These dark big clouds are usually found 6,500 feet above us..

Cumulus Clouds

The Cumulus cloud is associated with thunderstorms . they are big long clouds that look like cotton candy found 3300 feet above us.

Altostratus Clouds

The Altostartus clouds is a middle altitude cloud found around 6,500 feet. The altostratus cloud is not associated with a occurrence until it transformation into a nimbostratus.

Altocumulus Cloud

The Altocumulus clouds located around 6,500 feet. Their are no weather occurrences from this cloud.

Cumulonimbus Clouds

the cumulonimbus cloud is located 39,000 feet above us, This cloud can produce lightning ,a tornado ,and hail.

This cloud is located 16,000 feet above the ground. This cloud is an indicator of fair,but cold weather.

Cirrus

this cloud is located 20,000 feet above the ground. this cloud can produce snowflakes and ice crystals.
