FUN TIMES PRE LOCKDOWN Blesma PHOTOGRAPHY Group

Highlights from some of the Blesma Photography group events during 2016

January

Verdi Studio Experience Day

Over two separate days, the team at Verdi Studios who are also located in Chadwell Heath donated their time and studio to Blesma Members.

In the studio

Verdi Studios donated more than just the fully equipped and accessible studio, which they closed to the public over the two days. They donated their time, expertise and arranged lunch and models.

Studio Lighting

Those of us that attended were privileged to have such an opportunity to experience this level of photography and to have such expert tuition was brilliant; the results were amazing. Verdi studios and all those that gave their time have made a huge impact on the limbless veterans that travelled from as far away as Somerset and Yorkshire.

Blesma Members also enjoyed some more valuable studio time with the Verdi's later in the year in August.

February

Members of the Photography group met up to see the Enduring Eye, the complete exhibition at the Royal Geographical Socitey.

Honouring the achievements of Sir Ernest Shackleton, Frank Hurley and the men of the Endurance Expedition of 1914-1917, 'Enduring Eye'

The group
After the exhibition we wandered along to the Royal Albert Hall and enjoyed lunch with live music.
