One tool that I have found quite useful is "Notebook" (IOS) as you can type text, insert photos and record audio in a very smooth way. It also syncs between your phone, tablet and laptop. I only use my phone when I attend a workshop or a conférence, which is very convinient.
The other thing I have been doing is to create a Google slide template and take notes on it. This option is not as seamless as the frst one, but it is much easier to share your notes as it is a Google app.
