On April, 30th 1789 the first president of the United States was elected.

On October 13, 1792 the White House was built

In 2002 president George W. Bush and Eisenhower family rededicate and formally rename the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on May 7.

On November 4th, 2008 our 1st African American president was elected.

On November 9th 2016 Donald J. Trump became the 45th president of the U.S

The oval office is the presidents formal work space. It has his desk and the things he wants on it. It also has some furniture. The president does all his work in it. When the west wing caught fire in 1929 the Oval Office was gutted along with the rest of the building.

The theater room is really red and has a really big TV. It was first made in 1942. The presidents uses it for TV and speeches. It has really nice chairs.

The White House library was made in 1935. There chairs tables and books in the room. It used to be a laundry room.
