George Washington

LOYAL

Definition: Loyal- Giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution.

Me: I believe that I am loyal, since I always will support my friends and family no matter what, even against other's opinions. Most of this time, this trait is positive. This trait would help contribute to my legacy, by showing that I will not betray others.

​George Washington: I consider George Washington one of the most loyal presidents in history, since after the Revolutionary War, Washington could've made himself a king in America from his reputation during the war. Instead, he decided to stay loyal to his country and decided to limit the powers of the president. This is a positive trait. This trait contributes to George Washington, by showing that he will not betray his country.

John Adams

Intelligent

Definition: Intelligent- Having or showing intelligence, especially of a high level

Me: I believe that I am intelligent, because I can solve problems, and I do good in school. Usually, this trait is positive. This trait would help contribute to my legacy, by showing that I was able to solve problems mentally.

John Adams: Proof that John Adams was intelligent, is that he got into Harvard College whenever he was 15, and graduated in law whenever he was 23. This trait is usually positive. This trait would contribute to his legacy, by showing that John Adams was a very smart and wise leader.

Thomas Jefferson

Well-Educated

Definition: Well-Educated- Highly Educated- Having extensive information or understanding.

Me: I believe that I am well-educated because I know many things about school and life. This is usually a positive trait. This would contribute to my legacy, by showing that I knew about many things.

Thomas Jefferson: Jefferson was well-educated . He went to the University of Virginia and loved reading books and tinkering and inventing. This is usually a positive trait. This would contribute to Jefferson's legacy by showing that he was very educated in many things about presidency, and outside of it presidency.

James Madison

Committed

Define: Committed- Feeling dedication and loyalty to a cause, activity, or job; wholeheartedly dedicated.

Me: I believe that I am committed, since I usually stick to one point or cause. This trait is neutral, since you can be committed to a good, or bad cause. This would contribute to my legacy, by showing that I would stick to my point.

James Madison: I believe that James Madison was committed, since during his presidency, he mostly focused on winning the war of 1812. This trait would be neutral, since this helped America with the war, but also could've been negative, since he didn't really do anything other than the war. This contributes to his legacy, since it shows that he was committed to helping the nation.

James Monroe

Experienced

Definition: Experienced- Having knowledge or skill in a particular field, especially a profession or job, gained over a period of time.

Me: I would call myself somewhat experienced in school, especially to those who are younger than me, since they would be able to come to me for help. Usually, this trait is positive. This would contribute to my legacy by showing that I had know what I was doing for something over a period of time.

James Monroe: I would call him experienced, since he has held many political positions before he was president. This would be a positive trait for him. This would contribute to his legacy, by showing that he has had many political experiences.
