The pacific ocean is located on the west side of the world. This massive ocean is the world largest and deepest oceans in the world. The Pacific Ocean is estimated to contain 187 quintillion gallons of water. Obviously this ocean is a land form of a ocean.

Because of plate tectonics, the Pacific is shrinking about 0.5 sq km a year. Also If Mount Everest were put in Challenger Deep, its summit would be 2,000 meters underwater. The Great Barrier Reef, off the coast of Australia is the longest coral reef in the world. It stretches for about 2,300 km and consists of almost 3,000 individual reefs and 900 islands.
