U.S vs NIXON by kinley butler & kourtney Hendricks

BACKGROUND: In 1972 there was a burglary breaking into into a Democratic National committee headquarters they claimed it was Nixon campaign. It had also reveled that he had a tape recorder than he used to record the Democratic conversations. The were responsible for raising money for the presidential campaigns in which Nixon wanted information upon the Democratic side

2 SIDES: Side one the people wanted to prove that Nixon had broken into the headquarters. Side 2 Nixon side is that he claims he didn't do it and wouldn't give them the taps

COURTS ANSWER: The judge decided to go against Nixon and said that he needed to release the tapes

HOW IT WAS AFFECTED: Any ranking official can not hide evidence that they broke the law
