- 1 large egg
- 10 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg white with 1 teaspoon water for egg wash
- coarse sugar for decoration (colored or white)
Mix butter and sugar, until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla and blend

In a seperate bowl; mix flour, baking soda, and flour

Combine flour and butter mixture and put them on a lightly floured counter and knead it.
Put dough in refrigerator until it is firm.
Preheat oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit
Divide cookies evenly and then bake them for 12-15 mins.
Let cookies cool down
Refrigerate cookies once done baking
Add egg wash (egg + water)
