YAY!!!! I'm sure you were as pleased as we were to hear the Prime Minister's announcement yesterday afternoon about moving to alert level 1.
We have loved welcoming everyone back under level 2 and 3 but we are super excited to welcome you all back to the classrooms and community celebrations under alert level 1 with no restrictions. We extend a very warm welcome to our school families.
We want to say a huge WELL DONE to you all - as a team of 5 million New Zealanders we gave the fight against Covid-19 our best shot and we are starting to come out the other side, slowly but surely.
Chapel Downs School staff want to say a massive THANK YOU to our families and whanau for your awesome work during the lockdown, supporting students with their home learning. We think we all need a bit of a pat on the back for making it through such remarkable circumstances.
Please join us this Friday (12 June) from 1.45pm in the hall to celebrate our first Full School Assembly since the end of February.
