Interns are expected to have skills in Microsoft office and have a basic understanding of the financial industry. Internships are seen as a learning experience and are also paid. They are expected to work 20-40 hours a week and work more the length of one semester. Interns will analyze current processes, products, and systems and figure out ways to improve them. They will also present findings of their analysis to higher ups. Interns are expected to provide a fresh perspective on how the company could improve. Each intern gets a mentor who will help on a regular basis, creating goals and discussing career development.
