Beijing Alumni Dinner Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship

Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship hosted its 2nd Beijing Alumni Dinner, bringing together entrepreneurial alumni in the region.

Alumni leaders from venture capital, technology, and high-growth startups engaged in a discussion on the climate for startup financing — including investment opportunities in the next 3-5 years — how technology will impact our lives going forward, and what they learned from the “capital feast.”

Featuring moderator Marvin Mao WG'11 (CEO, Leleketang.com) and panelists Xiaojun Li WG'04 (Partner, IDG Capital), Mi Dai WG'10 (Founding Partner, Joy Capital), and Kai Hong G'05, WG'05 (Founder and CEO, Babymap)

Karl Ulrich, Wharton Vice Dean of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, addressed the crowd in his 'self-taught' Mandarin.

We honored Dr. Gang Yu GRW'90, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of New Peak Group (111.com.cn) and Co-Founder and former Chairman of Yihaodian, with the Penn Wharton China Entrepreneur Award! Forest Lin WG'03 hosted the fireside chat.
