Ivan Pavlov BY:LARA

This is Ivan Pavlov

What did Ivan Pavlov do? He investigated how animals learn new things and found out that they get conditioned. This means that animals connect one experience with another and then remember both together in the future. Ivan Pavlov fed dogs and rang a bell at the same time. After a while, the dogs knew they would be fed when ever they heard the sound of the bell. So they connected the sound of the bell with the experience of receiving food. this is how they learn things. When did he live? Ivan was born on the14th of September 1849, in Ryazan (Russia). He died on the 27th of February 1936, in Leningrad (Soviet Union)
