So we talked about their logo, I played around with it.
You were looking to render certain parts transparent. I started in PS:
Then hit it with a layer mask to remove the white:
Then inverted:
I also traced it as a vector image. Not as exact as I'd like but it does allow for elements to be set to any color or hidden:
The advantage with the vector is that it'll scale perfectly, on a postage stamp or the side of a plane.
Anyway, it sounds like most of the time you can mask in PS unless what they give you is a mess. Please remind me to send the link for this stuff if I haven't already.
