New BTEC Level 2 resources Redesigned, re-written, better than ever

Great news!

Our BTEC Level 2 resource materials for the new academic year are back from the printers and ready for learners.

Now available are BTEC Level 2 resources for 'Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community' and 'Music for Practical Performance'.

Best of all, the qualifications are free for eligible cadets.

Don't just take our word for it

Stephen Isherwood, an Air Cadet from the Isle of Man, completed a BTEC in 2015, and is now planning on becoming a police officer.

Brand new look and feel

Sold! How do I get involved then?

Very easy.

Either:

  • Contact your CVQO Area or Regional Manager for more info
  • Register an interest by clicking one of the buttons on this form
  • Download and fill and return the appropriate enrolment regulations form from here
Our 2017 Duke of Westminster Award finalists - how did they end up here? They all completed a BTEC!

So it's free then?

Yes.

Cadets aged 16-18 in England can enrol on either qualification at no cost. Limited places are available for cadets in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Cameron here enrolled on a BTEC, was nominated for our Duke of Westminster Award, ended up winning it and going to South Africa for two weeks - not bad!

What else do I need to know?

Availability is limited and enrolments for both qualifications open officially on 1 August 2017.

HOWEVER, it is possible to complete a learner agreement form now and send it to us, so that it's processed in a timely manner when registrations open.

Support is available every step of the way from CVQO and we often run workbook weekends for cadet groups to get together and complete the work.
