EASE OF TRANSFER

About 50% of our students attend Webster through transferring, and many transfer from a STLCC campus, so we are very well-versed in all things transfer! Some of the transfer guidelines are below, but the key take-away is that if your previous coursework was completed successfully and college-level, the credit should transfer. We'll work with you to determine how it transfers, and what you'd have left to finish your bachelor's degree at Webster.

  • Webster fully accepts completed associate degrees from STLCC.
  • If credit was part of a completed associate degree, we can take up to 90 hours; without an associate degree we can accept up to 64 hours.
  • Credits must be college-level and successfully completed with a C- or better.
  • AA, AAT, or CORE 42 will satisfy Webster's lower-division gen. ed. (called the Global Citizenship Program, or GCP).
  • AS degrees are evaluated course by course to determine how classes will fulfill requirements at Webster.
  • AFA degrees will satisfy lower-division gen. ed. for students pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Music at Webster. Students with an AFA pursuing a BA or BS will have credits evaluated course by course.
"Webster accepted all my classes and I did not re-take any classes-- I just kept continuing my degree." -- Tram, Mathematics
