150 Ways to Live Well IN NB

Things have been a little hectic at Live Well | Bien Vivre as we prepare to hire two new Health Coaches (you should probably apply if you like having fun at work and helping people manage their wellness goals).

Although we are getting a little tired of all this snow, we are taking full advantage of the opportunities to explore quiet forests in the wilderness and navigate ski hills high in the sky. Time spent living well in nature helps us recharge our batteries and increases our feelings of happiness and health, as we remind ourselves that spring is just around the corner!

Tara's Adventures
Do you want to build a snowman? Come on let's go and play! We spent Family Day outside this year, participating in one of the most classic winter activities. Our dog, Lola, got in on the action too...and may have eaten our baby snowman's nose!
Always up for new adventures, our littlest explorer was ready to try cross country skiing! While visiting Mactaquac Provincial Park, we noticed there was FREE ski rentals for the whole family and took full advantage of their equipment sharing program!
Our family and friends know how to find local free and accessible activities. The city of Fredericton offers a variety of public skating times in 4 different arenas. On this breezy Sunday afternoon, we packed up our skates, toques, brewed our own hot chocolate and held an epic girls day out!
Intergenerational activity at it's finest! We found a hidden gem in Penniac. A perfect little hike leaves you feeling accomplished. The reward? Landing at the top of the ideal sliding hill. One of our nearest and dearest friends, Nana, may have had more fun than the kids!
Snowboarding has been on our bucket list all winter. These little board bunnies made this most of the experience on a balmy day at Crabbe Mountain! This exciting hill offers a wonderful sense of living well though its welcoming atmosphere and inviting community. We will be back again soon!
Date nights made easy! While my husband and I always work hard to make family time fun, active and engaging, we can easily forget to pencil in one on one time. Grabbing our snowshoes and heading out for a hike is one of our favourite ways (re)connect in nature!
It's always lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with these folks! Our winter is not complete without a visit to Eastwind Percheron Farm. This magical little spot allows you to fully unwind while you journey through the woods with a pit stop at a sliding hill and ends with a toasty bonfire. A must to living well in New Brunswick winters!
Sometimes being a spectator is all you need to get motivated. These little troopers watched the locals skate at Queen's Square in Fredericton and added it to their winter list of must-dos. We should be able to fit this in as another winter storm approaches!
What better way to spend time during a storm! Pulling out the classics for family game night is one of our favourite past times and a great distraction to the endless snowfall. Hope everyone stays safe and warm and stay tuned for more of our adventures!
