We used augmented reality feature in our mobile experience. The member would scan an in-store sign and an image of Adam or Nicki would appear and you were able to take a picture with them. It was a fun experience to create.

try on

Sears wanted to test a different jean experience in-stores. I worked together with the product, design, and development teams to build a mobile app where a user can either "Try On" and/or "Buy" jeans they wanted. One of each jean brand and style were laid out in the store floor. To "Try On"the jeans, the user would put the request into the mobile app, the app tells you what fitting room to go to, and your jeans are waiting for you! If a customer knows what they want, they put in the order and tap "Buy". The jeans will be waiting for them at the Merchandise Checkout counter.

Gift Registry - Landing Page Redesign

The Gift Registry business unit wanted to redesign their landing page and make it responsive.

Old Landing Page

New Landing Page

I led the effort of making the Gift Registry experience responsive and more personal by adding imagery, color, and enhanced the buying experience by adding more ways to shop.

endless aisle

I partnered with cross-functional teams to build this application which lived on a 42 inch interactive screen displays, in Sears stores. This experience helped merchants solve for only being able to display a small amount of product on the store floors. Customers were able to view all of a department's products in-store and online, review, compare, and purchase the items. We even added a SMS feature so they can buy the product right off their phones.

Product Detail Page - On this page we enabled SMS (Short Messaging Service) where users can enter their cell phone number, get texted the item, and checkout from their mobile device.

in-store digital experience

Sears opened its first appliance store in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 19, 2016. It was a 10,000 sq ft store which sold stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers and more as a test that will be watched around the country. Sears is combining online shopping with the traditional brick-and-motor store by featuring an integrated retail experience.

I was the team lead on the digital kitchen experience three 80 inch interactive displays which helped customers envision how a new refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, or range might look in a kitchen similar to their own. Shoppers now have the ability to look at various kitchen configurations and select different appliances, brands, and colors with just a tap!

Digital Price Signs

Forget paper price signs!

I worked with the UX team to design the in-store digital price signs providing the ability to review the same information as you would find online, providing the user with more information about the product.

Seventeen Digital Sign

Sears was launching the Seventeen fashion collection exclusively which included junior apparel, accessories, and footwear. I coordinated this digital sign for the Seventeen brand which was incorporated a fashion video, offers, and fashion looks which coordinated with the same look and feel of the Seventeen brand.

June 16, 2016 - I was recently promoted from being a Project Manager II to a Project Manager III.
