apartheid DBQ project kaleb valentin

An apartheid is segregation or discrimination based on race, ethnic group. An example of this was in the united states during the Jim Crow era.

In an apartheid the people are divided between races and ethnic backgrounds. They would also have a difference in the amount of the share of national income like in Africa with the black population only getting around 20 percent and the white population getting around 75 percent.

It is important to understand what an apartheid is so it can be prevented from happening again. An example of this was with the jim crow era and apartheid in south Africa.

An apartheid is discrimination between the ethnic groups and races. This is like what happened in the united states during the jim crow era and the black lives matter protests. We could try to prevent injustices but they will exist in one form or another.
