George Washington Looking forward

Washington's experiences:

First Continental Congress (September 5 to October 26, 1774)

Washington has a lot of experience with leadership and being a big part in a group. He was a delegate for the continental congresses and he was the commander in chief for the continental army.

The presidents cabinet

Why his cabinet is experienced and what they will be doing to help the country:

His cabinet is experienced because they have worked with similar or even the same issues, for example Thomas Jefferson previously worked with France he is perfect for the job of secretary of state.

Thomas Jefferson (3rd president)

Why will Jefferson and Hamilton be great cabinet picks:

Alexander Hamilton

Hamilton will be a great cabinet pick because of his reliability in bookkeeping when he was his aide-de-camp in the Revolutionary War. Jefferson will be a great pick because as Secretary of State it was his job to deal with Foreign Affairs and Thomas had just finished serving as the ambassador to France.

The elastic clause

Explain why the Elastic clause is vital for the country:

The elastic clause is vital for the country because it allows congress to make laws it needs to carry out its own powers, so it is important for the nation to run smoothly without any problems.

A representation of debt

Explain how Washington and Hamilton will work to get us out of debt:

Washington and Hamilton will work to get us out of debt by raising money to pay off the debts, Hamilton would issue new securities bonds. Hamilton's vision for reshaping the American economy included a federal charter for a national financial institution. He proposed a bank of the United States. The third major area of Hamilton's economic plan aimed to make American manufacturers self-sufficient. Washington will contribute by getting people to do these tasks.

The White House

Why D.C. is a good location for the capital of the U.S.:

It is a good location because it is geographically closer to them than any other place. Also it is good place be the capital because it was a relatively untouched and empty part of the us, so it was perfect to start new on, also it lost to Philadelphia because of the compromise over slavery; a concern about public health; and a grudge against the Pennsylvania state government, were all factors in the move.

George Washington
Looking forward, for a better future.
