What a year, it doesn't seem possible that we are rapidly reaching the end of 2016. We've had a year full of travel with family and friends. Mary kept busy with the Tulsa Community Art Association - Alpha Rho Tau and Bill traveled with the PHOTOG's (Photography of Tulsa Oklahoma Group).
We started New Year's day with Kason and Katie, Val and Jesse were out late for New Year's Eve.
We soon hit the road to California for Shua's Bar Mitzvah and were able to spend a few days with Andi, Jonathan and the California grandchildren.
Spring brought Easter and Kason's first soccer game!
We took a lovely weekend trip in early April for Texas Bluebonnets and then met good friends Mike and Barb for a long weekend in Branson and Eureka Springs.
Bill traveled to North Dakota with a group of fellow PHOTOGs in May to photograph wild horses and Bison in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, old abandoned buildings on the North Dakota plains and Elk, Pronghorn and Bighorn sheep in the South Dakota Badlands.
Summer brought Tulsa Tough cycling, outings to photograph the Milky Way, a trip to Woolaroc with Val, Jesse and the kids. Summer also brought us back to Illinois for two weddings.
Bill traveled to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for a photography summit at the end of October and traveled with other PHOTOGs to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico to photograph snow geese and greater sandhill cranes.
Mary's big finish for the year was participating in the annual Member show for Alpha Rho Tau.
