Quiche A Savory Affair

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Whisk Away!

Combine the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, whisk slightly.

Don't forget to add your favorite seasonings. I added seasoning salt and Mrs. Dash.

The Filling

In a pan sauté your filling ingredients (except the cheese) together.

When it comes to your pie filling, the choice is yours. Here are a few of my past combinations.

+bacon, onions and spinach.
+feta cheese and spinach or kale.
+cheddar cheese, bacon bits and spinach.

Layer the raw pie crust with your filling, then pour the egg mixture on top. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the egg mixture is set.

Bake at 375.
Cut into 8 wedges.
Break out that bottle of champs! Nothing complements this cheesy, savory, and flaky pie more than a glass of bubbly.

  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup organic milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups chopped fresh spinach/kale
  • 1 cup Feta/cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust, fitted to a 9-inch pie plate
