Allie Warren made 10 saves against Juniata. It was the 13th time in Warren's career that she made double digit saves in a game.

SEPTEMBER 7 - Penn State Altoona 5, Bryn Athyn 2

Payton Gormley scored the first two goals of her collegiate career in the second half of the Penn State Altoona contest. Gormley stepped up to take a free kick with 9:38 left and swung the ball from the just outside the left corner of the penalty area into the right side of the Nittany Lion goal. Gormley scored again 45 seconds later on another free-kick opportunity. This time, the free kick came from 30 yards away directly in front of the goal. Gormley put the ball on goal and it went just under the crossbar and out of the reach of a leaping Diana Miller.

Kailey Brower stood tall in the Bryn Athyn goal, making 11 saves. It was the fourth time in her career that Brower stopped double-digits shots in a match, and the second time she did it in consecutive games.

Keeper DJ Eldridge made two saves against the Eagles

SEPTEMBER 7 - Penn State Altoona 2, Bryn Athyn 1

The Ovecka brothers would link up on a set piece for the Lions at 69:10 to level the match at one. Ryan Ovecka took the free kick from the left sideline 25 yards from the end line. He lofted the ball into the box where Owen Ovecka got his head to it from eight yards away and put in inside the right post. It was Owen Ovecka's second goal of the season. Eldridge made a career-high 10 saves.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

SEPTEMBER 3 - Bryn Athyn 3, Penn State Schuylkill 0

Led by a match-high 10 kills from Hannah Dewees, the Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball team picked up its first win of the season over Penn State Schuylkill. Lex Juritsch and Allaina Brock each had six kills, while Chloe Levan added six service aces and eight digsā€”both match highs.

SEPTEMBER 4 - Arcadia 3, Bryn Athyn 0

Hannah Dewees led Bryn Athyn with seven kills on 22 attempts and three digs, while Lex Juritsch added four kills on 19 attempts and five digs. Jenessa Lombardi recorded 17 assists. Chloe Levan had a team-high eight digs.

SEPTEMBER 7 - Immaculata 3, Bryn Athyn 0 | Bryn Athyn 3, Bryn Mawr 1

Alexis Nakos racked up a career-high eight kills on 15 attempts in the opening match against the Mighty Macs, while Jenessa Lombardi recorded 17 assists. Chloe Levan and Lex Juritsch paced the defensive effort with 19 and 15 digs, respectively. In the second match of the day, Briana Cliney had a match-high 10 kills, while Hannah Dewees and Nakos both added eight kills. Lombardi recorded 25 assists and 12 digs. It was Lombardi's ninth career double-double and Cliney's fifth career match with at least 10 kills.

CROSS COUNTRY

LAST WEEK

Tanner Congdon was the men's top runner in the event as he set a personal best time on the Belmont Plateau 8-kilometer course with a time of 36 minutes, 00.8 seconds. His time placed him 95th in the 121-runner field. Congdon's previous best course time was 36:51.5, which he set during last year's Philadelphia Metropolitan Championship.On the women's side, Morgan Flynn completed the tricky 5-kilometer in a time of 25 minutes, 54.5 seconds to come in 73rd place in the 105-runner field. In her first-ever race at Belmont Plateau, Anwyn Brock posted the 94th-place time of 30:18.8.
