Religion - Our religion that we have is Islam.

Start Date - The start date for Islam was the year of 610.

Followers worldwide - There are more than 1.6 billion, or 23 percent which makes it the 2nd largest religion.

Name of Deity - The name of the deity was Allah. The Muslims believed in there one god which was Allah and believed that Muhammad was his prophet.

Founder - Muhammad was the founder of Islam. He was accepted by Muslims by the last of the prophets of God.

Name of Holy Book - Quran was the Holy Book. The people of islamic religion believe it to be the revelation of Allah or god.

Place of Worship -The place of worship is the Mosque. Muslims often call it the Masjid which is a arabic for place of prostration.

This is where all the Muslims go and worship.

Leadership Structure - Any muslim with enough knowledge may lead the prayers or perform rituals such as weddings or funerals.

This is where all the muslims go and pray.

Basic Beliefs Explained - The basic beliefs include a belief of the unity of God, beliefs in angels, beliefs in prophets, beliefs in scriptures and belief in the Final Judgment.

Major Holidays/ Celebrations - Islam has a celebration called Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr is one for their most important celebrations. That celebration is the Festival of breaking the Fast.
