Hitler made people in Germany fight for his losing army.

Hitler forced dying Jews to walk through the towns with the townspeople watching.

Hitler started the war that killed Rosa and Hans Hubermann, Rudy Steiner, and destroyed the only place Liesel had reletive good care and stability in.

Hitler forced Jews into concentration camps, including Max, who was Liesels friend.

Hitler very nearly took Rudy Steiner to work as a member of Hitlers Elites, Germans with the best looks, athleticism, brain, and loyalty. Because Rudys father said no, he was taken to fight in the war.

If people see enough of these posters in conjunction with some other negative ideas about Anti-Nazis, they may start to beleive that Anti-Nazis are as bad for their country as Jews. Also, this poster goes off the already-established (kind of) truth that Jews are bad.

***A SMALL PIECE OF TRUTH*** I do not carry a sickle or scythe. I only wear a black robe when it's cold. And I do not have those skull-like facial features you seem to enjoy pinning on me from a distance. You want to know what I truly look like? I'll help you out. Find yourself in a mirror while I continue.

Death says this because he is trying to explain the things humans think he looks like is false, and that he looks like any other human.

She didn't care where he was going or what he was planning, but he would not be going without her. They walked... out of Molching altogether.

Liesel trusts Rudy greatly, because she walks all the way out of her city and continues walking for an hour before asking where they were going.

The Book Thief includes hiding jews in it, and The Whispering Town is completely based on hiding jews. In The Book Thief, Liesel Meminger, Rosa Hubermann, and Hans Hubermann hide Max Vandenburg, the Jewish son of Hans´s WW1 friend. Unlike The Whispering town, Max stayed in their basement for more than 22 months before leaving. Also unlike The Whispering Town, Max left without help and disappeared.

The Book Thief is a Historical Fiction novel written by Markus Zusak. The main character is Liesel Meminger, a very poor child of communists during World War 2. At 10, she and her brother are given to foster care by their mother, but her brother dies on the train to Molching, where Rosa and Hans Hubermann wait to adopt them.

Liesel is sarcastic and because the story is told by 3rd person omniscient, most of the conversations she has are with Rudy Steiner, her best friend. They cuss at each other a lot because Rosa Hubermann cusses a lot and calls Liesel Saumensch. They rarely call each other Rudy and Liesel because Saumensch (German for pig) has taken over.

To as for the few conversations with others documented by death, the narrator, she seems shy and talks when she needs to, not when she wants to. She likes to look on at conversations. This may be because she likes to read a lot, hence the name of the novel.

Who did you steal this from? (Arthur Burg) It was Rudy who answered. ¨Otto Sturm.¨

Liesel didnt want to talk, and I think she maybe was shy
