The Badlands National Park is a great place to visit if you want to see a great view or if you want to explore some caves. It is located in the south-west part of South Dakota and it covers about 242,756 acres of land.

Some physical features of the Badlands are: The pointy and very tall rocks that cover part of the national park. Jewel cave, that is the 3rd largest cave in the world and you can take tours through part of it. Another one is animal fossils in the caves. Some of the fossils found in the caves are, rhino, horses, camels and pigs. You can also explore some rivers as well such as the Little Missouri River. The Badlands is not just a whole bunch of tall and pointy rocks but it also has one of the largest mixed-grass prairies in the United States.

Some things you can do here are, go hiking, go camping, enjoy the night sky, go to the Badlands overlook, or explore some caves. Those are just some of the activities you can do at the Badlands. Something I would do would is explore caves or go camping because I really enjoy those activities.
