Senior Jess Rega claimed the gold medal in the shot put with a toss of 13.23 meters on the final day of the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Widener. Junior Danika Ani took second overall in the event with a top throw of 12.82 meters. Rega's performance is currently second in the Mideast Region.
