This is my first page of thumbnails that I made, based off of inspiration from the selection of posters that I had, as you can see in photo. We had paste super tiny print outs of the posters and stick them into our book, so when we drew our thumbnails, they were right next to us for reference. We made another page of refined developments, and then were going to choose one to make a final poster on the iMacs, but after a few weeks, Mr. McGrath felt that this project was kind of boring and was just dragging on too long, so we left it at that and start a new project: typographic portraits.
We now started our new project, making a typographic portrait. A typographic portrait is basically a portrait of someone that is made with characters of a font, and they can look really fancy or simple. This is the image that I used to make my typographic portraits. I had to squint a bit in the photo because of the light outside, but I think the angle is nice since it's on the side and it lets me show features like my nose and chin better.
