The Great Depression started in 1929 and ended in 1939. In the year of 1932 GNP(Gross National Product) dropped 8.5 percent and unemployment rises to 15.9 percent. During The Great Depression two important people were Theodore Roosevelt and Mary McLeod Bethune.
