Reality of the Military by Dori redabaugh

The military is a very respectable occupation when chosen for the right reasons of wanting to serve one's country.

Too often military recruiters go after young high school students who don't know any better.

These recruiters will promise a lot of benefits, which do not come true in the end.

They make the military life seem glamorous to these young adults and most fall into this lifestyle for the wrong reasons.

Little do the military recruits tell these young men and women the reality of what they are getting themselves in to.
The training these young soldiers are put through along with battle will cause much physical and mental damage. This stress on the body can last the rest of their lives.
I respect and I am extremely grateful for the men and women that sacrifice everything for our country, but I disagree with the way a lot of things are handled.
