Yes, we did. Yes, we can. #ThanksObama

#ThanksObama, for inspiring millions of young people to get out and vote for what they believe in. Your message of hope inspired future generations that they can, and will, make change in the world.
#ThanksObama, for making history as the first black president. For young black children and children of color, your legacy means they can be whatever they want to be.
#ThanksObama for showing respect and admiration for the women in your life. And thank you Michelle, for taking on the role of FLOTUS with grace, poise, and endless kindness that inspired young women across the nation.
#ThanksObama, for making your presidency one of the people. Whether healthcare or education or economic recovery, you always fought to improve the lives of American citizens.
#ThanksObama for choosing a vice president who went above and beyond the call of duty. Yours and Joe Biden's legacy will be one of compassion and belief in the goodness of people.
And finally, #ThanksObama, for leaving office with a message of hope and belief in the American people's ability to create change.
