Definition of a metaphor:

A metaphor is a figure of speech that describes a person or object by referring to something that is considered to have similar characteristics and features to that person or object.

Examples of metaphors

1. The elephant in the room

2. Laughter is the music of the soul

3. you are my sunshine on a rainy day

4. Its raining cats and dogs

5. Lights as a feather

The song firework shows how anyone can be bright and beautiful inside.

The song Waterfalls is saying stick with what you known and be happy with what God gave you.

Here are a few biblical quotes

Proverbs 13:14 The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life.

When someone shares there wisdom they are giving you knowledge which is life which is just like water. WATER IS LIFE!

Isaiah 64:8 Now, O Lord, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.

God is shaping us into the people we are today and we are all Gods children.

Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
