A Children's Book by Rafael Joos

There once was a robot named Bob who did see a butterfly with wings as blue as the sea.
Destroy it he must he did not know why, he needed to make it fall down from the sky.
He was sure of his purpose for that he was glad, but it was quite simple and that made him sad.
To get rid of this object of beauty he must, with his death rays he will turn it to dust.
His programming told him to kill what he could, but he never found any reason he should.
The butterfly landed on top of his head, he wanted to swat it with arms made of lead.
The butterfly lay there incredibly still, the destroyer robot did not have the will.
The robot stayed still because now he was free, and with his new friend he took a great selfie.
