Day 1: Mountain Climbing

Castle Crags State Park sits at a staggering 6,500 feet. And while scaling this rocky formation is not for the faint of heart, it is definitely worth the climb!

If mountain climbing does not peak your interest, let's switch gears. Did you know that the San Francisco Chronicle says that Redding is California's secret mountain biking mecca? There are over 200 miles of trails to discover and explore! There's something for everyone, whether you just learned how to petal, or you live for the thrill.

Day 2: Off-Highway Vehicles

The Chappie-Shasta OHV park has over 250 miles of scenic trails for motocross riders to all-terrain vehicles and four wheelers. This beautiful park is near Shasta Lake and its many trails overlook the Sacramento River as well as Shasta Dam.

Day 3: Extreme Water Sports

Spend it on the water! Shasta Lake has everything from jet skis to wakeboarding, to something called a Jetovator - which is actually pretty easy to learn, and you'll be soaring through the sky within no time.
