Applied Behavior Analysis: Virtual Graduate Program Meet and Greet October 28th, 6pm-7pm (CT)

The School of Education's Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Meet and Greet will be held from 6-7pm (CT) via Zoom on October 28th. Applied Behavior Analysis is a growing field with many exciting opportunities. We look forward to discussing our graduate programs and helping you advance your career!

Event Schedule

6pm: Our interim Dean Dr. Tom Cornell will start out the evening by welcoming everyone. Tom will provide an introduction to the School of Education and our faculty. He will also discuss the current job market trends and how our programs promote career advancement during uncertain times during the COVID-19 pandemic.

6:10pm: Faculty members will provide an overview of our MA in Special Education with ABA emphasis and Applied Behavior Analysis graduate certificate programs.

6:25pm: Current students and alumni will share about their experiences in our graduate ABA programs and their career paths.

6:40pm: You will have the opportunities to engage in open discussion and ask questions of our faculty, students, and alumni. We will wrap up the event at 7pm.

Faculty Speakers

Dr. Tom Cornell

Dr. Cornell is the School of Education’s Interim Dean and Associate Professor. He has extensive experience in K-12 education having worked as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, Title I Director, and Communication Arts/Library Media Services Curriculum Coordinator before coming to Webster University. Tom currently serves as a Board of Examiner with the Council for the Association of Educator Preparation. He is a past graduate of the Global Leadership Academy at Webster University as well.

Dr. Zhichun Zhou

Faculty member Dr. Zhou is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D). She received her Ph.D. in Human Development with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from University of Rochester in 2018. Her research interests span the disciplines of behavior analysis, developmental psychology, and philosophies of human behavior. A common thread in Zhichun's research is in understanding the functions or motivations of human behaviors, especially behaviors of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and/or other mental disorders.

Elizabeth Vos, BCBA

Elizabeth Vos, BCBA is a Webster graduate who earned both her Master's degree in Special Education and graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the School of Education. She returned to Webster as an adjunct faculty member to share her knowledge of the field with current students studying ABA. Elizabeth is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and works for a Behavioral Health Agency in Phoenix, Arizona.
