What is God like? DAY SEVEN

It’s important to ask: What is God like?

God wants us to think 🤔 about this... to look 🧐 for Him and find 👇 Him in His Word. Let’s take a look at Isaiah 40...

Day Seven

Isaiah 40:27 - Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”?

Isaiah 40:28 - Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Isaiah 40:29-30 - He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

Isaiah 40:31 - but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Is there ever a reason that you should complain and say that God is not big enough or loving enough to care for your problems?

What is God like?

He is not only the most strong and loving One in the universe, but He gives His strength and love to us.

He tells us to hope in Him, or “wait with eager expectation” for Him. God will certainly give us all the strength, love and wisdom you need. That is His promise!

Take time to pray 🙏 and speak back to God who He is. Tell Him that He is powerful and loving. Thank Him that He always keeps His promises. Now wait and watch for Him to reveal Himself to you.
