Water By Mia Lewis
James was ready for a beautiful day at the beach. The water was clear and blue, the day was perfect for a day on the water. James took his boat and pushed it into the water, he gets in and starts rowing into the ocean. The waves were calm, soft he was so excited to anchor his boat and explore a little deeper. He finds the perfect spot to anchor his boat. He puts on his snorkeling gear, and jumps in to adventure.
James had to leave his friend Liam, Liam isn’t as adventures as James and was too scared to go snorkel. James was annoyed since you aren’t supposed to go snorkeling alone for safety reasons, but since James thought it was such a beautiful day he couldn’t resist but to go alone. He had to move on from the fact that Liam wouldn’t come and tried to enjoy the rest of the beautiful day. As he swam he saw the view underwater, the most colorful way of life he’d ever seen. The school of fish swam in one direction than another, the coral gave shelter for the fish. But something seemed of about the creatures behavior, they all started to swim to hide from something. The waves get rougher, the sky goes from clear to dark, James was getting worried. He swam to the surface rushing to get back in the boat, before he could get to his boat the anchor came loose. James is starting to panic, his boat was starting float away. James was miles from shore, there was no way her could get back without his boat. He starts to swim, trying to grab the the anchor but the waves were getting bigger and rougher. James gave up on the boat and now was just trying to get back to shore before things went from bad to worse.

Your branch’s surround me.
Everywhere I go
You are there.
Oregon is lucky enough
To hold so many
Of the worlds most important
Throughout every season,
With bright green
We see all of your colors.
Thank you for air.
Thank you for beauty.
