Steamworks & Roaring Robotics

Roaring Robotics, Team 2704, is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based out of Batavia, IL getting ready for the 2017 Steamworks competition.

For warm-up, the team did the Flapjack Challenge . . .

Ideas are discussed and turned into proof of concept models.

Starting with an idea

Designs are refined using Computer Aided Design techniques.

Designing it

Students hand craft the robot.

Building it

Code for operating the robot is written.

Programming it

Students perform an operational test of the lift mechanism.

Testing it

The robot is driven during Flapjack Challenge using a video controller.

Driving it

Crashing it?

Oh well. Sometimes, stuff just happens.
