One of our Top 10 priorities for 2017 is the completion of the SAP deployments throughout our GB business unit. This program started in 2015 and is planned to finish in 2018 deploying end to end SAP through Order to Cash, Planning, Manufacturing in 6 sites, and Warehousing in 10 sites. Below you can find a unique insight from Manel Martinez, who joined the team from Iberia showing how we can make our larger CCEP IT organization an advantage for us all:
“Since the beginning of this year I have had the opportunity to collaborate with the colleagues in (legacy) Coca-Cola Enterprises within the Wave 2 Project, at our London Headquarters. I have the chance to work with a great team, getting to know other ways of working and understanding business, as well as becoming acquainted with British culture.
This adventure is interesting to me as it involves many changes: a new country, new colleagues, a new system and a great new project. It all becomes a big challenge, but certainly a worthwhile one.
We are really fortunate to be part of the world’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler, a huge multicultural company made up of 13 countries, nine different official languages and with over 25,000 employees. This offers us many possibilities to participate in some of the biggest projects around Europe, and also to get to know many other cultures, people and ways of working.
During these months, we are working on the design challenge of next day billing. The experience of the CCIP model really helped us to consider other possible solutions coming from the successful implementations in Spain and Portugal throughout the last 8 years. This is a clear example of how we can generate positive synergies to achieve the best results for the business and guarantee the excellence and the success of the projects. “
