Special Olympics Colorado JANUARY NEWS

Play Unified. Live Unified.

Special Olympics Colorado Athlete Chaz Moss met Eddie Yarbrough while they were students at Grandview High School. During his senior year, Eddie helped start a Special Olympics Colorado Unified Basketball Team bringing students with and without disabilities together on the same court. Now Eddie is a defensive end for the Buffalo Bills.

By being one of the first to participate in Unified Sports at Grandview High School, Eddie gained an understanding of why inclusion is so important, and has brought that with him to the NFL. In December, Eddie wore cleats designed by the current students of the Grandview High School Unified Program, in support of Special Olympics Colorado, as part of the NFL's My Cause My Cleats Campaign. Chaz was there to cheer him on! Check out the 9News Story!
