Elephants by hannah

Elephants are the biggest land mammal in the world. You can find them in Africa and Asia. African elephants are larger and have bigger ears than Asian elephants. Their average lifespan is 60-70 years. Their habitat is the savannah and like to swim.

A male elephant is called a bull. A female elephant is called a cow. A herd is 10 or more elephants and lead by a female. They have no natural animal predators.

They eat a range of grasses, roots, twigs, fruit, tree bark and no meat.

Here is a video about elephants adapting.
