Queen Isabella was name queen of the castle when Henry IV died in 1474. Ferdinand became the king of Aragón in 1479. King of Aragon, Valencia, and Majorca, Count of Barcelona 1479–1516, King of Castile and León 1474–1504 with Isabella the Catholic

In 1492, Christopher Columbus, an explorer sponsored by Isabella and Ferdinand, discovered the New World for Europe and claimed the rich.

after the war of succession ended, Isabella became the Queen of Castile.Her husband, had become King of Aragon, and together they ruled both, but not Spain.
