We’ll have our annual Blessing of the Backpacks for elementary children (kindergarten–5th grade) during the online worship services. We look forward to celebrating this special day!

BACKPACK BOGO (BUY ONE, GIVE ONE) PROJECT:

When you are shopping for school supplies and a backpack for your children, please consider purchasing a backpack and filling it with school supplies and a weekend food bag for a student in need. Please include the following school supplies: wide-ruled composition book, crayons, No. 2 pencils, glue sticks, and child-sized scissors. In the weekend food bag, please include only the following items: 1 can of soup, 1 can of Vienna sausages, 1 box of macaroni and cheese, 1 pack of Ramen noodles, 1 pack of cheese crackers, 2 packs of oatmeal, and 2 packs of fruit snacks. Please purchase canned items that have pull-tab openings. Say a blessing over the filled backpack and include a note to let the recipient know his or her bag has been blessed.
