Indus River valley

Importance-The river is 3200 km (1988 miles). The river has a drainage area exceeding 450,000 square miles.Description- The river is especially critical since rainfall is meagre in the lower Indus valley. Natural borders consisted of mountains and the Arabian Sea, sheltering the civilization from attack and disease.

Ganges basin

Importance -The Ganges is the most scared river to Hindus. Description about the Ganges The Ganges basin is a part of the Ganges-Brahmaputra basin draining 1086000 square kilometres in India and Bangladesh. The Ganga basin is the cradle of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage culture.

Harappa

Discription- A Brief Introduction to the Ancient Indus Civilization.Importance- The modern town is a part of, and lies next to, the ancient city. Cince 1921 this civilization has been revealed by spectacular finds at Mohenjo-Daro, an archaeological site in NW Sind, and at Harappa, in central Punjab near the Ravi River.

Discription- Brihadeshwara Temple (Tamil: Peruvudaiyar Kovil) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva.Importance- We often worship in temples without knowing much about the significance of each of them.Temples are normally dedicated to one primary god. Often they are elaborately decorated on the outside with stone or plaster carvings depicting religious stories, and their decoration is specific to the deity being worshiped.

Buddhism

Discription- Sanchi, the Buddhist complex, famous for its Great Stupa, is located on a hilltop at Sanchi Town in Raisen District of the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.Importance- The Great Stupa at Sanchi is one of the most important Buddhist monuments reflecting gem of Buddhist art and architecture.
