Natural borders consisted of mountains and the Arabian Sea, sheltering the civilization from attack and disease.

Importance -The Ganges is the most scared river to Hindus. Description about the Ganges The Ganges basin is a part of the Ganges-Brahmaputra basin draining 1086000 square kilometres in India and Bangladesh. The Ganga basin is the cradle of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage culture.
