Dates to Note

Trimester 1 report cards and unofficial transcripts have been finalized, they are now available on Parent Vue and Student Vue. To access, login to your account and click on the report card. Make sure you've selected T1 in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Now you should see a message that says 'click here to view report card for Tri 1' at the top left hand side of the screen. You can view online any time and if needed print it out. If you are having difficulty accessing the report card or would like a paper copy please call the main office at 541-494-6312.

Planning to Attend SOU?

Tuesday, January 14th, SOU Admissions will be in the Crater Library accepting applications. They are waiving the application fee for this event. Check out the link for more SOU application information.
Winter Break Dates: No School December 23rd through January 3rd. School will resume January 6th. December 20th, regular school day.
Senior Class of 2020! The discount deadline for ordering your cap and gown and grad supplies is quickly approaching. Orders placed after December 13th will cost more, so please get your order form in the mail or order online at highschool.herffjones.com Call 1-800-442-4696 with questions.

Announcements

Last Saturday, December 7th, was the Crater Foundation's 25th dessert auction and with it came some incredible achievements! Not only has the dessert auction now surpassed over 1 million dollars raised, but last weekend set a record of just over $95,000! Thank you to our amazing community for their continued support!

Inclusion Works is very excited to be co-hosting this year's Night to Shine Prom, a red carpet experience for individuals, ages 14+, who experience disability. If you do not know what the Night to Shine Prom is, I highly recommend you watch the video below. This is an amazing experience for our families here in Jackson and Josephine County. There is a link below to register as an attendee and a link if you are interested in volunteering.

Couch surfing, Homeless? Need resources for school supplies, clothing, food or transportation? Connect with Ms. Grush our school counselor - room 35 (next to the library) for resources.
Don't forget to turn in your Community Service Documentation Forms in the main office. We will only be able to count hours that have been documented and turned in!

Gender Sexuality Alliance Club Meetings

The Gender Sexuality Alliance Club offers a safe place for students on the LGBT+ spectrum and allies alike to find community and support from their peers. If you have a student who is looking for this type of resource, could you please refer them to our weekly meetings? Where: Renaissance hall Room 57 (Caroline Burdick's room) When: Thursdays from 12:45 - 1:15 Who: LGBT+ students and allies.

Students of the Month

College Corner

The next ACT test date is February 8th and the registration is due January 10th.
The next SAT test date is March 14th, and the registration is due February 14th.

College bound Juniors should plan to take the SAT/ACT tests by the end of the school year. If you are a Senior that has not already taken one of the tests, this is a perfect opportunity to sign up!

Crater Foundation Scholarship

Applications to the Crater Foundation Scholarship must be submitted by February 12th.
