We can’t list all of last year’s highlights, but here are a few—

The Hockey team won the WCHA regular season title and the MacNaughton Cup.

Mel Pearson won WCHA Coach of the Year and was a finalist for the Spencer Penrose Award which goes to the National Coach of the Year.

Jamie Phillips was named the WCHA Outstanding Student-Athlete.

Alex Petan was WCHA Player of the Year, a Hobey Baker Award Finalist and earned Second Team All-America honors.

Kyle Monroe was named GLIAC Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Year and was also named to the Division II Bulletin All-Freshman Team.

The Women’s Basketball team won its 14th GLIAC regular season title and Kerry Gardner was named to the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan College Academic-Athletic Team.

Football players Paul Kuoppala and Alex Sherbinow were named to the Don Hansen All-Super Region Four Team.

Nordic Skier Andrea Lee won the NCAA Central Region Championship title.

The Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams broke numerous school records and had two NCAA qualifiers in Jevon Maddox and Kyle Petermann.

The Volleyball team started the season with a school-record 10 consecutive wins.

Women’s Soccer players Lexi Herrewig and Kathryn Farkas were respectively named All-GLIAC First Team and All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

Men’s Tennis player Built Yumuang was named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention for the third consecutive year.

Women’s Tennis players Vicky Quinde and Allenca Rolim were respectively named All-GLIAC Second Team and All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.
