Please enjoy this brief recap of the presentations at the two January 2017 William Floyd Board of Education meetings.

At the January 10 meeting, the Board of Education recognized the William Floyd juniors and seniors who participated in and completed the Stony Brook University School of Health Technology and Management HCARE (Health Careers Academic Readiness and Excellence) summer program, in which they learned about professional careers in the health care industry and much more. For their efforts the students received certificates from the Board of Education and donned white coats to signify their commitment to their future careers and the development of leadership opportunities in the health care field.
